KSO (Hyd) Freshers' Meet 2010

The 3rd KSO (Hyd) Freshers' Meet 2010 was held at YWCA, Secunderabad on August 14, 2010. The annual event saw a huge turn-up of over 250 members and well wishers who gathered on the occassion to witness the much awaited event of the year and to welcome the new faces into the student community in Hyderabad.

The key highlights of the event include The "Mr & Miss Fresher" selection which saw all the freshers giving their introductions and answering various interesting questions posed by the judges and audience. Mr. Gigin Lhungdim and Ms. Thennu Vaiphei were crowned the coveted Mr. Fresher and Miss Fresher for 2010 respectively after having won the hearts of the judges and audience with their witty answers. Mr. Lunminthang Kipgen, Railway Inspector was Cheif Guest during the event while Pu. Seikho Singsit graced the occasion as Guest of Honour. Rev. Paothang Haokip offered the students words of encouragement and advice and also sought blessings for the freshers.

The event also saw various performances - cultural dances and songs from various artistes, which left the crowd begging for more and ending the day and the event with an eager longing in their hearts for next year's freshers' meet.
